December 5, 2008: Loulé – Armação de Pêra
Departure time 16:30. Evening stroll with a late coffee at Pastelaria Busíris (very nice!). Overnight stay on the platform over the beach of Vale de Olivais.

05. 12. 2008: Loulé – Armação de Pêra
Abfahrt 16.30 Uhr. Bei Busíris noch einen Kaffee getrunken (sehr schön!) und kurzer Spaziergang durch den West-Teil der Stadt. Übernachtung auf der Dünen-Plattform oberhalb des Strand von Vale de Olivais.

December 6, 2008: Armação de Pêra – Praia de Cordoama
Breakfast at Busíris. Drive to Vila do Bispo and further stop next to a picknick place on the way to Praia do Castelejo for a nice walk (3,6 km 1 hr) through pine woods. Drive down to Cordoama Beach and overnight stay. Very nice big parking lot with great views on the rough sea.

06. 12. 02008: Armação de Pêra – Praia de Cordoama
Frühstück bei Busiris. Fahrt nach Bila do Bispo und weiter zu einem Parkplatz beim Picknickplatz oberhalb von Praia do Castelejo. Von dort aus sind wir 3,6 km (1 Stunde) in den Pinienwälder der Talflanken gelaufen.  Danach Fahrt zum Cordoama-Strand, wo wir auch auf dem großen Parkplatz zum übernachten geblieben sind. Toller Blick auf das wilde Meer.

December 7, 2008: Praia de Cordoama – Bordeira – Praia da Amoreira (Gabriel II)
After a good night’s sleep and a Sunday’s breakfast (in our camper, of course) we drove to Bordeira to go for a hike. But after we left, it began raining again and we decided to turn around and go back to our van. Especially that the trail wasn’t marked and we couldn’t see anything anyway. We drove to the cliffs upon Praia da Amoreira. We were surprised to see the Restaurant “Gabriel II” again, there where it had once been, but completely knew. In the meantime it had been gone for about 3 years; it reopened 1,5 months ago. We had to test it again so we went for lunch. Today with the not so good weather we made ourselves a real relaxing day: we only slept, ate, read and played games. Overnight stay on the parking space in front of the restaurant Gabriell II (a little tilted) – see right picture below.

07. 12. 2008: Praia de Cordoama – Bordeira – Praia da Amoreira (Gabriel II)
Nach einer langen erholsamen Nacht und einem Sonntagsfrühstück (im Wohni natürlich) sind wir zum Wandern nach Bordeira gefahren. Aber nachdem wir losgelaufen sind, hat es nur ständig ziemlich stark geregnet, der Weg war nicht markiert etc., so dass wir zurück zum wohni gelaufen sind und zur Steilküste oberhalb von Praia da Amoreira gefahren. Wir waren sehr erstaunt zu sehen, dass das Restaurant „Gabriel II“, wo wir vor 6 Jahren war und zwischendurch spurlos verschwunden war, wieder da ist (seit 1,5 Monaten)! Da mussten wir natürlich dort zu Mittag essen. Heute, bei dem nicht so schönen Wetter, habe wir ein richtigen„Relaxtag“ gemacht: wir haben nur gelesen, gegessen, geschlafen und Spiele gespielt. Übernachtung auf dem Parkplatz von Gabriel II (siehe unteres rechtes Bild). Platz ist ein wenig schräg.

December 8, 2008: Praia da Amoreira - Bordeira
Today we went for our second try to do the walk “Trilho dos Aromas”and this time we had lovely weather (p. 13 from Percursos Pedestres do Algarve – 3,5 hours, 13,5 km). The walk was very lovely, it took us through different vegetation and landscapes. Drive and lunch close to the surfer beach “Amado” on the parking lot of the (closed) restaurant “Sitio do Forno” with great views.

08. 12. 2008: Praia da Amoreira - Bordeira
Heute haben wir einen zweiten Anlauf auf unsere Wanderung „Trilho dos Aromas“ unternommen (S. 13 von Percursos Pedestres do Algarve - 3,5 Stunden - 13,5 km), diesmal mit Erfolg: Das Wetter war wunderschön und der Spaziergang sehr abwechslungsreich. Fahrt und Mittagessen in der Nähe vom Sufer-Strand „Amado“ auf dem Parkplatz des Restaurants „Sitio do Forno“ (war geschlossen!) mit tollem Blick.
